Curtin Sydney Internship Program
All students studying at Curtin Sydney are given the opportunity to participate in the Curtin Sydney Internship Program. This Internship Program allows students to gain practical experience in a business environment that can dramatically increase their potential to obtain jobs within their chosen field.
Through the program, students will have the opportunity to work in a range of Accounting and Finance related companies on projects that will develop and build upon their skills and knowledge gained throughout their studies.

Curtin Sydney Job Preparation Program
In addition to the incredible opportunities provided through our intership program, Curtin Sydney also provides a range of support services for students that are aimed at improving their employability upon graduation.
Recruitment consultants meet with students on a regular basis to assist them with issues such as:
- Resume preparation
- Job search techniques
- Interview techniques and preparation
- Time management and goal setting skills
- Motivation and leadership
- Networking opportunities
- Australian cultural sensitivities and,
- Employer visits to campus discussing demands in industry locally and internationally

The Curtin University Internship program was really helpful. My internship was with UPS Pty Ltd in Sydney and lasted for three months. During this time I gained practical accounting experience and learnt how accounting systems work and operate in a growing business. This experience has helped me a lot. I am now working full time in a public company as an assistant accountant. I don�t think I would have secured a full time job as easily had I not completed the internship program.

The work placement service on campus provides a better way for students to get a proper job, either part time while studying or full time after graduation.
